Jonathan Mitchell
Jonathan joined Kenilworth Clinic as a counsellor in 2008 where he gained experience in family therapy and group therapy. He ran the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy group. In 2012 Jonathan started his own private practice which focuses on family and adolescent counselling as well as providing DBT skills training for both adolescents, adults as well as patients diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. He currently facilitates DBT groups at Akeso adolescent clinic and runs the Aftercare programme. In addition, he co-facilitates the Parent Support Group as well as the BPD support group and co-facilitates three DBT out-patient programmes. Jonathan and Glenbrook Practice will soon be launching a three-tier approach for persons diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. This will include 24-hour telephone support, DBT groups and individual DBT therapy.

Mark de la Rey
Mark, a clinical psychologist, is a consultant to Glenbrook Practice. He sees adults and adolescents for in-depth individual and group psychotherapy. The approaches he uses aim for lasting psychological and personal growth. This can only be achieved through an open and honest process of self-reflection and practical skills. Mark believes that an approach which includes Dialectical behavioural therapy, Mindfulness and challenges, best serves this growth.
Mark’s areas of interest are adolescents and their challenges, self-harm, substance use, social media and general adjustment to developing into an adult. He has significant experience in trauma, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, depression and anxiety. For the past 3 years, Mark has headed up the Adolescent inpatient program at Akeso Kenilworth Clinic. Specialising in problems faced by adolescents and young people from the ages of 12 to 18.
Mark has also worked in private practice as a Clinical Psychologist with Adolescent behavioural problems as well as Marriage and Relationship therapy. His areas of interest are Substance withdrawal, abuse and dependence, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD), Bipolar Depression, Suicide, and Anxiety disorders.
